The Areas We Cover
We work out of 2825 N University Dr, Coral Springs, FL 33065, and most of our calls come from houses built between 1968 and 2005 - the stretch when this whole part of Broward County filled in. That means a lot of the garages we open up still have original tracks and openers from the 1970s and 80s sitting next to parts someone swapped in during the 90s.
Our territory follows the development pattern more than any map line. We go out to Margate, about three miles off, and Parkland, around four. Tamarac and North Lauderdale sit at five miles, same as Coconut Creek. Lauderhill and Lauderdale Lakes are a bit further at eight, Deerfield Beach and Oakland Park at nine. We also take calls from Lighthouse Point, Washington Park, Wilton Manors, Hillsboro Beach, and Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, all around eleven miles out, and we'll drive to Dania Beach at sixteen, Southwest Ranches at seventeen, and Golf at nineteen when the job calls for it.
Across that service area there are roughly 232,020 households and 65,707 owner-occupied houses, with a median household income of $68,424. That mix tells us what to carry on the truck - mostly standard torsion springs, steel sectional panels, and chain or belt-drive openers, not specialty architectural doors nobody around here has.
What We Do Not Take On
We fix and replace residential garage doors - springs, openers, tracks, cables, rollers, panels. We don't take on commercial overhead or loading-dock doors, and we're not a crew for new-construction installs where the opening itself still needs framing. If a door is custom-built with a lead time measured in months, we'll tell you that up front rather than quote a job we can't actually deliver on schedule.
We also won't force a modern opener onto hardware that was never built for it. Plenty of the doors we see in houses from the 1968-2005 build era still run on original side-mounted torsion setups, and sometimes the honest answer is that the track or the frame needs attention before any opener upgrade makes sense - we'll say so instead of bolting new equipment to a bad base.
Gates, fences, carport covers, and shed doors aren't something we touch. Neither is drywall or structural repair inside the garage itself - if a spring failure put a dent in the ceiling or the header's pulled loose, that part of the job goes to someone else. We'd rather send you to the right trade than take money for work outside what we actually do well.
Who Turns Up
The person who comes to your driveway is there to look at the door
Not sell you a whole garage remodel. They'll check the spring tension, the track alignment, the opener's travel limits, and the cables before touching anything, because on houses from this area's building era - mostly 1968 through 2005 - the failure is usually one specific part, not the whole unit.
The mild temperate climate here means we're not fighting the freeze-thaw cracking or heavy snow-load problems that other parts of the country deal with
What we do see more of is wear on moving parts - rollers, bearings, spring cycles - from steady year-round use rather than seasonal shutdown. That shapes what gets carried on the truck and what gets checked first on a service call.
If a repair is going to cost close to what a new door runs
We'll tell you that instead of patching something that's going to fail again in six months. You can reach us at (954) 459-3861, and our full coverage area is listed on the home page.
